You meet us on the roads every day, together with Volvo, Scania, Mercedes, MAN and DAF, among others. It is we who secure and streamline transport through our box and bodywork that you see on trucks and trailers!
Unique to us is that we manufacture and deliver our products from ear to loaf with a combined expertise under one roof. Everything from construction, to welding, to gluing, to electrical installation and final assembly. We do this with pride and our deliveries have high quality, functionality, user-friendliness and durability!
Our name, PLS, is an abbreviation of Plåt- och smide, which is the original name the company was given when it was started as a family business in Rydaholm, Småland, in 1957. Since then, we have delivered and developed solid and smart transport solutions. The company has grown stronger and larger over the years, undergone a name change and become part of a larger industrial group. However, the family feeling and personal contact are the same now as then!
PLS is part of Inducore
Since 2008, we have been part of the Inducore industrial group, which is privately owned and consists of entrepreneurs with a customer focus.
Inducore was founded in 1997 and today has operations in five countries with three different business areas.
